## Integration – Introduction  

 

आज हम शुरुआत कर रहे हैं Class 12 के सबसे ज़रूरी टॉपिक – *Integration* की।

### What is Integration?

Integration एक ऐसा mathematical तरीका है जिससे हम किसी function का area या summation निकाल सकते हैं।  

ये *differentiation* का उल्टा (reverse) प्रोसेस है।

---

### Why is Integration Important?

- Area under curves निकालने के लिए  

- Physics में displacement, work done आदि के लिए  

- Engineering और Competitive exams (JEE, NDA, etc.) में जरूरी  

---

### Types of Integration:

1. **Indefinite Integration** (जिसमें कोई सीमा नहीं होती)  

   जैसे:  

   ∫x² dx = (x³)/3 + C

2. **Definite Integration** (जिसमें सीमा होती है)  

   जैसे:  

   ∫[0 to 2] x dx = [x²/2] from 0 to 2 = (4/2) - (0) = 2

### Important Formulae:

- ∫xⁿ dx = (xⁿ⁺¹)/(n+1) + C, where n ≠ -1  

- ∫1/x dx = ln|x| + C  

- ∫eˣ dx = eˣ + C  

- ∫sin x dx = -cos x + C  

- ∫cos x dx = sin x + C
